Candle filter
Candle filters are included in the pressure filtration group. In this technology, the liquid containing particles is passed through special elements up to 10 microns made of SS316L/SS304L with or without pre-coat under 2 to 6 bar pressure. It is separated from the candle filter and finally the fluid without particles with higher transparency is obtained as filtrate. One of the advantages of this type of filter is the homogeneous quality of filtration and minimal maintenance and operating costs. The main application of this type of filters is in the clarification of all kinds of syrups and drinks in the food industry, the separation of chemical and mineral particles in the liquid phase, and the separation of particles in the oil and gas industries.
